GrabCAD, which was founded in 2009 by Hardi Meybaum and Indrek Narusk, is a cloud-based collaboration network that helps designers build physical products faster and easier by connecting engineers, content & technology. GrabCAD grew to the world’s largest community of mechanical engineers and was in 2014 acquired by Stratasys, a US-Israeli 3D printing giant. Magnetic MRO is a Tallinn based aircraft maintenance and repair organization which was acquired in 2010 by the Private Equity investor BaltCap. Since the acquisition the company has gone through a major transformation and growth. New modern hangar facility was opened at the Tallinn Airport which increased the capacity of the hangar by 5 times and a whole range of state-of-the-art services were added. Today Magnetic MRO is serving more than 100 clients from Western and Eastern Europe, Africa and other regions. SAS, Air Baltic, Thomas Cook and Austrian among others bring their aircrafts to Tallinn for maintenance. The revenue of the company has grown from from €10m to €36m and the number of employees has gone up from 160 to more than 300 people.
